  • Review surveys, title policies, and writing restrictions;
  • Negotiate with debt and equity investors;
  • Conduct extensive due diligence prior to major land purchases;
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and government officials on permits and other necessary rights and pre-development elements, such as utility capacity, drainage requirements, and site development density;

The best known use of a Mexican trust, especially among Americans and other non-Mexicans, is the real estate or land trust. It is the legal entity that is used to give certainty in the acquisition of residential real estate for the restricted area.
